Did you know that each year November 13th is World Kindness Day? If you missed it, it’s not too late to get on the kindness bandwagon. We’d like to make every day World Kindness Day! Let’s take a look to see why.

Was there ever a time when you were really, really hungry and there was no food for you? Many of us would have a hard time relating to that question. Maybe the food we wanted wasn’t at home and convenient. But food not available at all is hard to imagine.

How did you find your ”heartpaths”? We look at heartpaths as your purpose and the way you choose to live your life with meaning. It’s not necessarily a career. Sometimes heartpaths can show up in the most unlikely places.

What costume will you be wearing on Halloween? How will it affect your personality? We got to thinking about this because on Halloween, it’s fun to dress up and pretend to be a different personality. Robert Brault said, “There’s a child in every one of us who is still looking for a brightly-lit front porch.”

What have you been noticing lately? We got to thinking about this subject because we’ve been noticing things like the changeable weather. First we had some cold, rainy days, which made people want to get their winter vacations planned. Then we had some warm summer-like days, which allowed us to bask in the sunshine.

What makes you happy, besides friends and family? That’s a question we asked some people earlier this week as we prepared to do our column and related video.
How life changes! Given what happened next in our life, happiness didn’t seem like an appropriate subject to be covering.

A number of years ago we were standing in the greeting card section of a store looking for a birthday card for a friend. On the other side of that card section (out of sight to us) we heard a young boy saying to his mother, “Mommy, take a look at this card.”
