Was there ever a time when you were really, really hungry and there was no food for you? Many of us would have a hard time relating to that question. Maybe the food we wanted wasn’t at home and convenient. But food not available at all is hard to imagine.

What have you been noticing lately? We got to thinking about this subject because we’ve been noticing things like the changeable weather. First we had some cold, rainy days, which made people want to get their winter vacations planned. Then we had some warm summer-like days, which allowed us to bask in the sunshine.

A lesson in communication from a young boy
A number of years ago we were standing in the greeting card section of a store looking for a birthday card for a friend. On the other side of that card section (out of sight to us) we heard a young boy saying to his mother, “Mommy, take a look at this card.”
